I love coffee and,
But what about homeopathy and other medications or therapies?
It may be recommended to lower your coffee intake while taking homeopathic remedies. Why is this? Is there scientific evidence to show they interact poorly? That I can find, no and yes.
The reason you may be asked to lower your coffee, alcohol, or other alternative treatments may be because:
1. Your body will detox as you take supplements, including magnesium or coffee, for example. This can be done at an extreme pace and may compromise homeostasis of your body systems. This will create a lack or excess of certain minerals and acids in your body that prevents it functioning as one intended beautiful interaction it was designed for = homeostasis. You are likely to become more ill without homeostasis.
2. Drugs, medicine or other, are similar tools of ups and downs, getting a balance is difficult, and can cause deleterious toxic effects, when taken long term for some and short term for others, depending on the source and amount.
3. Your body needs only a tiny stimulus to begin healing. Your homeopath may understand the things causing a decline in your natural health and will make recommendations accordingly. If it is to decrease a prescription drug this will be done slowly and safely with your doctor’s knowledge and advice. If your doctor will not work with you on this, they may not have the tools to understand how natural health happens. A different doctor who hopes to see his patients off medication and is willing to work with you on this is recommended.
4. Occasionally a drug like an antibiotic may be chosen or an anti-venom to avoid infection. Other times you may choose to take a hormone for its ability to balance what you lack, or you may receive chemotherapy to kill the toxicity and aggression of cancer cells. These are understandable in today’s medical field. Though many a good doctor will tell you to do your research and make natural healthy choices too. These are the ones who see it isn’t all about getting a drug, sometimes it’s about changing a lifestyle, a habit or negative circumstance that makes all the difference.
5. As well, a good homeopath can aid a person’s natural detox pathways safely. This will nudge the body towards health and homeostasis where natural healing occurs. A homeopath hopes to see this happen without a toxic drug load, such as - 1)antibiotics that are short term and cannot act in the long term without an imbalance to sugars in your gut, 2)without artificially induced hormone levels, affecting both brain and gut health, 3) with less toxic overload from heavy carcinogenic chemical drugs that may alleviate pain or symptoms for the short term, but slowly break down and overload the liver, the heart, and internal wellbeing.
6. A trained homeopath can work with you when you are taking medications or other treatments, but often will encourage you to depend less on what is not workable long term.
Coffee for example can affect a person at different times, but especially when already adrenally fatigued, in effect, borrowing energy from a body that is exhausted. This will affect overall health, and can fatigue a person even more, though they appear to have energy. It will counteract natural health and cause a decline, you may be asked to reduce or stop this for this reason. I am happy to work with you on this no matter how long it is that this affects you, or you need it. This same principle applies to just about all other drugs, supplements, and medicine.
Ps. I love and enjoy one small cuppa, every morning! It has not stopped my remedies from working nor my overall wellbeing.
Other therapies that work well with homeopathy..
1. Reflections, quiet time, nature walks = a quieter mind and a more peaceful healing disposition
2. Massage, if you like this, can help to slow down and relax
3. Peaceful thoughts, thinking positively, moving towards hope.
4. Cell Salts or Tissue Salts and your indicated remedy can break through barriers, and detox naturally, moving towards inner homeostasis.(See me for recommendations)
